3.0 notification shade

Oh man do I hate this.... Any way to turn off the background blur they added to the notification/top bar pulldown? It's terrible... And it pulls down slower too... Really hate this.

Meh, it'll get used to the blur, but it's slower in general to pull down. Guessing I could change animation speed in dev settings?

Wish I could use the OneUi app drawer and replace just the home screen of the launcher. Samsung free won't even swipe back to the gone screens. At least it looks like 3.1 will add Google discovery ...

FYI, animation duration scale of 0.5 vs 1 made the animation snappier. Wondering if the 3.0 defaults are slower.

If you read some of the tests, it was designed that way, as a smooth, slide-down shade instead of a snap-down shade like the old one. ??? I finally got used to it, but I also (and have always) had my animation scales set to 0.5x! (I deleted my 1st post by mistake)

I don't think there's anything you can do for the blur, but for animation speed, go to settings > accessibility > visibility enhancements > remove animations

I agree with the blur, nothing can do about it until Samsung Good Lock gets updated to 3.0

Now my latest gripe is that hitting clear all in the recent apps takes me back to the default samsung launcher... ?! I mean I can hit the gone button again but it's annoying as hell... Grr
