3.1 and google movies

I saw on twitter someone said that the transformer 3.1 update did not come with google movies. Is that true? That would really be unfortunate.

yes, i don't see it on my update, unless we need to update market seperately, don't see why google would leave this out.....revenue

That's true for me - no movies in the Market with the 3.1 update. I also don't have my gmail widget, which seems like a bug I'm sure ASUS will fix.

Only on Xoom 3g versions specifically. Wifi Xooms don't have it either.

Just out of curiosity, does it work in the web interface? AKA, if you buy a movie, can you open up youtube.com and watch the movie in your web browser?

I don't have any kind of proof, so take this with a grain of salt, but the only answer that makes sense to me is that Google made an exclusivity deal with Verizon. Granted a badly publisized one, but why else would only one version of one tablet have this feature. As a wifi xoom owner I find it frustrating, as I'm sure you do too.
