3, 3XL or 3a XL. Which one to pick?

I have the coupon that gives me $300 off total. I'm going to pull the trigger tomorrow I think. Currently using a 6T. I want the size and pocketability of the smaller Pixel 3 but I do use my phone for watching video on lunch and when I'm working out so I kind of want the bigger screen of the 3XL. That said, I also think I'd be fine to use the 3a XL at that point and save the cash and get the better batter life.

Anyone have any suggestions or advice? My 6T is about the same exact size as the 3XL and is a bit hard for me to handle at times though I've mostly gotten used to it.

Maybe get the pixel 3a donuts even cheaper you'd basically be getting the phone for almost free and then 2-3 months you trade it or sell it and get the pixel 4/xl.

I think so for awhile. I like the 6T enough that it will make a nice backup for the next year or two. Just miss some pixel features and that camera.

Aww ok still worth it bc you might be able to get more $ when selling it depending how much you actually pay out of pocket. It probably is still worth it.

I don't do any heavy gaming on my phone. I used a Moto G4 for awhile a couple years ago with no issues with the performance so I'm just thinking I really only need the 3a.

Yeah I'm getting my kid a 3a as well. She's using that G4 still and it's getting a bit long in the tooth. It's held up well though.

Bought one for my wife a month ago and she loves it. She has the pixel 3a and I've played with it to test it out and I literally can barely notice any difference in performance from the 3a vs my pixel 3 xl to be honest. If I broke or lost my phone is get the 3a or 3aXL instead of a normal 3 or 3 xl to hold me off until the pixel 4 and 4xl are released.

If you don't play heavy games on your phone, the only real disadvantage of the Pixel 3a for me would be the Google Photos backup (unlimited original quality only offered for Pixel 3).

Expect better battery life too on the 3a due to larger battery and less screen resolution (personally not that noticeable on phone screens).

Yeah, the picture resolution backup is the big disadvantage for me too.

The other difference with the a is that HDR and Night Sight is done in the CPU, not in a Visual Core chip, so the processing takes longer. If you don't need HDR and Night Sight, and don't play games (or need CPU power for some other reason), the 3a is fine. But if you do, in your case I'd go for the 3XL. (I went for the 2, because I rarely watch YouTube, never watch movies on the phone, so I don't need the extra size. (I came from a Note 3, and it's very noticeable when I go back to it.)

Can't tell you want to pick between 3 and 3 xl. Only you know that hehehe. I like big screen so that's why I have the 3 xl.

Get the 3 or 3xl much better specs you can't go wrong. I have the 3 coming from the 2xl and love it will keep it until it dies.

Yeah, the camera is good, honestly I've been overall pretty happy with the 6T camera but it does lack sometimes. Also, I think I just like phones and the pixel is the only other one I feel I can tolerate.

Yeah I love the big screen on my 6T for watching stuff, which I do a bit but man it's hard to handle sometimes.
