Alright. I may have had this phone for upwards of 2 years for now, learned a ton about ROM making, flashing, theming, etc, but there are still a few things that, to this day, I have not been able to figure out how to do. Two things actually. Both may or may not be things that are super easy, but I'm just missing, but after countless Google searches, I'm leaning towards "They're not".
The first is Three Way Calling. I'm just beginning to think that it might just not be supported on CDMA, but this seems unlikely. It's more likely that Virgin Mobile doesn't support it. I'm looking to be able to call a friend, and then add another friend into the call and be able to talk to all three at once. I've tried the most conventional method of
At this point, the phone shows it is dialing the person I'm trying to add, which is good. That's what it's supposed to do. Then I should be able to hit "Merge Calls" and talk with all three people at the same time. Problem is, when it should be dialing the person I'd like to add to the call, it never does. Their phone never rings. I read on a different forum to
And this should work, but it doesn't. So, does anyone know how to do a proper 3 Way Call?
Now for my second question, which I know very few, if anyone, will be able to answer.
My parents have a 2009 BMW X5. It has the iDrive system that allows for iPods and USB Drives to be hooked up to it, but I have never gotten it to recognize my Optimus. On IHO (Backside) the car never even recognized that it was a USB Mass storage device, so the option to mount the SD Card never popped up in the StatusBar. But now on Quattrimus (CM9), the option to mount the SD Card comes up. When I turn it on, the car says "USB Device not compatible". I'm thinking it's because the Optimus uses proprietary USB Drivers, so the car can't recognize it. So if anyone has this model of car, have they gotten their Optimus to play music through the Aux USB port on the car?
Thanks!

- Calling person 1
- Hitting the add caller button
- Clicking the 2nd person I'd like to add to the call

- Call person 1
- Hit "Add Call"
- Click the person you'd like to add, but DON'T hit "Merge Call"
- Hit "Add Caller" again, and select the same person again
