3 Weeks with the Innocase II update..

Ok so it's been roughly 3 weeks since I had this case. I still love the look and feel of it, but this whole issue of the case becoming more and more loose is kind of annoying. I guess my case is somewhere in the middle of the road as far as having the newest version of this case. Mine has the same rubberized coating inside as it does outside, it does have the felt going up to half of the cutout provided for the speaker and camera. Newer models apparently have the felt covering the top part of the cutout as well.

My case went from fitting tight right out of the box, to becoming a bit looser when applying downward pressure to the case from the top, and upware pressure from the bottom. I "fixed" this by applying some electrical tape in the bottom corners of the case, and after I did that, it did feel tight again. It lasted a few days before the looseness returned. I am wondering if apply more tape will just "stretch" the case out even more? After all, it might increase the risk of the gap between the two halfs to get bigger and bigger. I wish they could have come up with a more secure locking mechanism.

It's liveable, but it's also annoying. I paid 30 dollars for two pieces of plastic and some felt that doesn't fit tightly on my phone. I guess I should have spent the same amount of mone on their actice case, but I am worried about that flexible rubber/polymer thingy to loosen up as well.

I am out of the return period, so I'll just put up with what I have. Sad really, because, as mentioned above, I really do like the look and feel of the case.

What are your experiences?

Sorry, I don't have the Innocase II... however, here's a bump and my experience with another case.

With the Amzer jelly case or whatever, my Evo looks stylish.
However, just like your case, it seems to have gotten a little loose over the few weeks.
What used to be a snug fit seems to have expanded a bit. Not too annoying, but I'm weary of what may happen after months of use.

I have two of those cases, one of the original and one of the newer. My experience is about the same, the cases get looser after awhile.

I recently got an HTC Gel case which fits very nicely, but is a bit bigger and heavier. My biggest complaint is that the Gel case is just a bit too big to fit in the holster I got with one of the Innocases. For now I just switch cases when I go out so I can use the holster.

I am about to receive the Seidio Active case. Still looking for the perfect case.
