[31/May/21] AUE8 Global, Exynos, JUNE Android Security patch

This latest update is the 11th for the Global, Exynos, S21 series and is currently being rolled out by Samsung.

This update is for camera, general bugfixes and June security patch.

Initially, as always, this is rolling out to the non-carrier branded, stock Samsung CSC codes first.

The Galaxy S21 Global, Exynos, devices that will receive this update are...

• S21 5G model SM-G991B
• S21+ 5G model SM-G996B
• S21 Ultra 5G model SM-G998B

This latest release replaces the G99*BXXU3AUE1 May build.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you.

Yes definitely and I am not the only one, many people in a French forum are also complaining about it.
With my S21U I used to have easily 1 day and a half of battery, since the May update 1 day and 2 hours max.

Same here. I cleared cache as advised here but improvement was marginal.

Here is an article from SamMobile regarding the AUE8 June update...

"As we reported a few days back, the camera app on the Galaxy S21 series phones can lag while doing the most basic of tasks, such as zooming in and out on a scene by switching between the main and zoom cameras or switching between shooting modes. According to Samsung, the lag should be fixed in the June update"

If you click through to the source, it's actually "According to a Samsung Members moderator", which is close to being just a rumor, but hopefully a true rumor.

Am liking both the AUE1 and the latest AUE8 releases for the S21 Ultra global, Exynos model.

Good battery life and Screen on Time as well as Deep Sleep.
