Hi all, I'm thinking about upgrading to this phone because my contract is up.

I've heard new phones will move to 64bit processors. This phone has a 32bit.

If you/I plan on using the phone for two years, does that concern you in terms of being a decent phone in a years time?

Love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

Thanks

I don't think 64 bit will be implemented well enough in the next two years to necessitate the delay of a new, 32bit phone.

Software will always be far behind hardware advancements. Give it time.

There it's always new tech around the corner. Every device with be out done by the next. The G3 will be a good device for at least the span off your two year contract. No need to worry.

Don't worry about it. 64 still has a long way to go on mobile devices and 95% of the users will not need the 64bit. Hell even on a computer, 85% of users do not need 64bit and have no idea what the difference between 64 and 32 bit.

All Android smartphone manufacturers have to wait for Google who brings 64-bit to them. Do not worry about it.
