I apologize if this was already posted but I couldn't find it on the forum.

I have an HTC EVO 3D and I have a problem with it. When I watch something in 3d, it works. But when I watch a video in 2d, weather it's from my gallery or YouTube and I go back to watching something in 3d (green hornet, YouTube, spiderman game) the 3d on the screen is turned off and the content only shows up in 2d. To fix this glitch on my phone, I have to restart the phone or go to my gallery and watch a 3d video that I recorded and then I can see that other content in 3d again. I have hard reset my phone 3 times and have added only a few apps.

If anyone can duplicate this issue, please post here and contact sprint and HTC to let them know so that they can fix it with an OTA update.

Happened to me too. I just restarted my phone and it worked.

Same for when my notifications stopped working. Restarted and worked.

It's growing quite tiresome...

I am unable to view Green Hornet in 3D. Worked great the first day but nothing since.
Spider Man game is in 3D. The 3D pics still work in 3D. But not Green Hornet.

Done several soft resets. Also did a battery pull with no help.

Happened to me too. Took it to Sprint, had the technician report it to HTC.

Fixed mine the same way, it happens every so often at random times. Doesnt seem to be triggered by anything specific.

Best thing to do, take it to Sprint or call them and tell them it's happening. Dont let them hard reset your phone, as a regular reset fixes it. They just need heavy log of it so it'll get fixed over update.

Interesting. I spent two days frustrated that The Green Hornet was not playing back in 3D. Then yesterday I shot a quick 3d video, and from that point on The Green Hornet plays back properly.

I believe this should be a problem in every EVO 3D. I guess if enough people try this and report it to sprint and HTC then they will fix it.

I thought this was only happening to me!

I too also had this issue the other day and was baffled as to why, I replayed the movie a couple times and 3D would not work,

Than i looked at some 3D images in my phone (worked fine) and went back to the movie and it worked again!

Think we should report to HTC!

I already reported it to HTC and I am in the middle of reporting it to sprint.

Here is what sprint customer service said:

"Our technicians are aware of it and working on it and it is in the final stage of completion and it will be solved soon.

It is an issue with all our customers."
