Thanks to a fellow board member over at tfw2005 (MegaMoonMan) we now have another option for our Gear S 2's. He has designed and 3D printed a new style stand for our charging base. It comes in two pieces a simple tab and slot configuration.(It can also be printed in different colors) The top C portion holds the charging base and watch very securely with being able to adjust the angle of the charging base to your personal preference. It has a channel going down the spine for the charging cord to travel to give it a nice clean look. I have ordered items from this person before and they have all been amazing pieces.. I can't recommend him enough.. He charges 26.00 shipped in the U.S. 30.00 anyplace else (charging base not included) He is sending me mine this week. I will post a full review with a quick video and pictures with my watch..If anybody is interested please contact him at mmm@megamoonman.com
Until I get my stand in hand here is a picture of the finished product with my extra charging base inserted.

If anybody has any questions for MegaMoonMan or my self please let me know...

How does it hold the watch charger in the stand? Is there some kind of mechanism to secure it in place or does it just fit in?

The top part is essentially a big C so it grips the charging base very securely.

The 3D printing thing is fascinating and all, but I can't figure out why I'd need a stand for my charger.

I think it is just an asthetic thing (at least for me).....looks a little cooler when the watch is hanging from the charging port than laying on it.

Conceivably, a band that's too heavy could induce a moment strong enough to overcome the magnet. The configuration of this stand would largely eliminate such a problem.
