why is it that we can take 3d pics but not use them as a wallpaper oe even a locked screen

why is it that we can take 3d pics but not use them as a wallpaper oe even a locked screen

Because htc sense, which controls the wallpaper/theme and lock screen is not in 3d.

My guess is that having these elements in 3d, constantly switching the screen from 3d on to off, uses too much battery.
