So I've been skeptical about the whole 3D thing since they announced the G-Slate. I've never been a fan of 3D, and I thought it was just going to be a gimicky, pointless feature to the device.

And then I got to play with one today.

I have to say, I think the 3D capture and play back on the G-Slate is worth the extra price jack. Yes, it's a little distorted (color wise) if you're using the provided glasses but it looks GREAT. It's nice to see that LG actually put some time and effort into this feature.

The G-Slate is beyond amazing, and honestly after playing with it for a good period of time there's no way I'm not going to buy one. It's got everything, and apparently more, that I could ask for.

Have you ever played with a Xoom? Any comparison?

I have a wifi Xoom now that I am thinking of selling to get the G-Slate. I need a smaller screen. the 10 inch screen a little too big for me.

I haven't had the chance to play with one yet, but I plan on it just to compare the two...I always knew that wasn't one I was going to spring for just because of the size. I'm little, with little hands so those 10 inch screens are just WAY too big for me The 8.9 is perfect and the weight actually feels really good.

I've heard some people complain about the screen quality on the Xoom, and I don't think they'll be able to say that about the G-Slate. It's really nice and crisp with the right amount of color...Sometimes I feel like the Samsung is over-saturated and I feel like LG got it right with both the G-Slate and the G2X.
