3G Blackberry Signal vs. Motorola Atrix Signal

How is the signal strength? I've flip flopped around between iphones, blackberrys, and androids (only captivate and backflip) and found the Blackberries to have the best signal strength of all of them(Backflip being the worst) Can anyone who has a Blackberry 3G phone on compare the signal to the atrix for me?

My signal has been better at home with the Atrix (had a 9700). Will update when I get to work (in a basement).

Seemed pretty good in the basement.
I actually picked up signal in the subway on the way to work.
