3G issues with Sky Raider 2.0

Wondering if any ones is having the same issue with Sky Raider as I am and if there is a fix.

Randomly I will show full bars and the 3G just goes out. On the notification bar it no longer shows 3G or 1x but shows full bars. I have to either turn the phone off or put it into airplane mode and back out and the the 3G comes back. Its completely random. Can even happen while using the 3G

I saw that with the stock Froyo ROM, but never with SkyRaider. It's a known bug in stock, with no known fix at the moment:

Same problem here. Sky Raider is apparently not the problem. I read over in XDA forums that the version 2 radio was released as part of an Eclair OTA leaked update. And now people are using it with their Froyo ROMs. Nobody knows for sure last time I checked, but this sounds like a logical excuse for this problem... Hopefully they get this resolved in the not too distant future...

UPDATE 8/12/10: I just updated to the 2.15.00.07.28 radio after installing UnrEVOked Forever. And I saw no change in my radio's behavior. IOW, 3G is still up to its old tricks. Go figure...
