3g speed

Is there any way to boost 3g speeds before data cap? Can we change proxy settings DNS servers for improved 3g speeds.

Actually, yes it does help speeds, but it's still not great. So does going to Boost.
Virgin gets whatever is left after the other two use it.

i use "set dns" from the market to switch... and yes i also have "set dns pro" to support the dev... it works quite nicely with cm7... if my speeds suck on google dns, i switch to fool dns and get better speeds... nothing crazy but it helps... i haven't tried any of the other dns options available with "pro"... fyi... i also use "auto memory manager" from market to boost my speeds a little further....

Wow i actually got speed increases from downloading set dns.

Following download speed averages with three tests of each. At 6am on 3G in East Tenn, all averaged around 450 ping.
