3G speeds slow?

Hey,

I just switched to the Droid X and I am noticing that it is taking longer to send posts via tapatalk then it did on the Fascinate. This normal?

My 3G speeds have been very poor lately. I can't even stream a YouTube video over 4bar 3G. It pauses constantly. It didn't use to be like that. Don't know if this is a 2.2ism or not.

For the past week my 3g has been in and out. I'll be on a site and go to click a link and nothing. I've tried dialing *228 but it still didn't work after. I usually get great 3g coverage too.
