3rd G'zone Commando

I'm on my 3rd Commando because the phone keeps shutting off, it will do this randomly, also I had a problem with the keyboard on the first two phones. Random letters would not function properly. Is anyone else having these problems.

I'm having the same exact issue and the Verizon tech I spoke with admitted it wasn't an isolated case. He said it "sounds like a software issue and usually happens with new phone releases, wait for the update that will probably take care of these bugs." ...that was approximately 6 months ago :0( ... I'm still looking forward to that update as my phone shut down on me 3 times today already and it's only 2pm... frustrated w/you jtwall. On top of all this they posted a bum topic link after yours on this forum aaarrrggghhh...!

Wiping the cache in recovery may help, but with your device I am not sure how to do that.

From what I've found on the web, there's no easy way to wipe the cache partition for that phone. You might just want to bite the bullet and do a full factory reset. It'll wipe the phone, so you'll want to make sure all of your data is backed up. When you're done with the reset, you'll have to set up your home screens all over again. But maybe it might help with some of your problems.
