3rd Party Twitter and Facebook apps

Can someone please explain to me why 3rd party apps like TweetDeck and the like don't pick up posts from my wife's iPhone in my Facebook stream? That's the major reason why I don't like and use them. I miss all posts from her when she is on her iPhone. Same thing would happen when she had a BlackBerry too. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

It has to do with the end user in this case your wife having to go into her account and allow third party applications.

I can't remember exactly what steps are needed. I talked to OneLouder about this a while back because I was frustrated with Friendcaster not showing a lot of posts.

Bottom line is that it is facebook that won't allow full access. So I'm stuck using the 2 applications.
