Sorry about your device. I would go with one of the Samsungs unless you're hung up on the Pixel Camera. Pixel does much better in auto for pictures of little children and pets who don't sit still very well. Samsung does have manual setting to improve you experience. As far as which S series to go with that depends on your needs.

Can't go wrong with any of them , its what your personal taste is . But only one offers 5g the s20 if you want that .

Just realized i paid for preferred care. Can get a replacement for $129. Wait a couple days for that?
Still sucks that the "water resistance" wasn't that resistant :-(

Glad you had insurance, but hopefully lesson learned. Water resistance can help in cases of an "oops," but is not guaranteed and not covered under the standard warranty.

I meant to ask you if you had insurance. That buys you time to wait to upgrade further down the road.

Yeah, I'd say go with the replacement. You'll still get the unlimited Original Quality Google Photos uploads through Jan 2022 (which isn't available on the 4, 3a, or 3a XL).
