OK I updated to .4 and now my phone just drops all signal randomly every 10 mins or so even if I had full 4 bars of 4g signal ... funny thing is it was better on .2 it wud loose its signal jus no where near as much as .4 whats up with this phone??? Any ideas on what it could be

Also I've used those hybrids and they seem a little off too am I doin sum thin wrong here

Lol are you speaking a hybrid form of English? I kid.

If your experiencing problems like that it may be because something didn't flash right. Maybe try a s reflash .4 and if that still doesn't work go back to .2 for now until the official update comes out. Non official releases aren't going to be perfect and hell even official ones aren't perfect. Going to take some trouble shooting.

This could be the reasion why 4.0.4 has not been officially released yet. I would rather have something that has passed QA than a buggy update.

I would flash back to stock if I were you.

yep 4.0.4 isn't mainstream for a reason. if you get the newest, you will have the newest problems

Any and all problems that are mentioned about the 4.0.4 update. Bottom line, its not official so you can't really complain about it. This is what you get with a leaked build.

So you guys haven't heard all of the positive comments about the leaked 4.0.4 from other users, huh? OP you may get some help rather than "I told you so" in the rooted section. I researched and decided I'm going to take the plunge once Wug's updates his "easy root" kit to 1.4, but have no experience to offer at the moment. You might want to check out his kit to reflash or return to stock. It's a sticky in the rooted section.

I agree. When people who haven't installed the leak says they have problems everyone tells them you need to install the leaked update. Now someone says they installed it and you're all saying too bad, I guess you're SOL.

I used the toolkit in the XDA thread - worked perfectly. I installed the update - then achieved root on my device. Like you all said - the positive developments from this update are far too numerous to list - I would never go back to 4.0.2 - this update is what should have been on the phone when released (IMO).

Another thing I noticed was its 2 different downloads for the .4 update one was 29mb and the other was 5.99mb does this have any significance??? I'm using the 29mb one

I flashed the 29MB one and the signal drop seemed to be the same. however the last week or two it seems to drop more often. All the other fixes (rotation, overall performance etc) is great and I will keep the leaked update until another leak or the official release comes out.

I have been using the 4.0.4 Leak since it came out and it works way better then 4.0.2 I will only flash official 4.0.4 once it has been out for a bit when ever that is

I flashed the detox pre rooted version and I love it. It was 189 mob (unless I am confused)

Yeah, please don't complain about something that is not officially pushed to your phone.

He is just asking if other people are having issues for crying out loud.

I did see the 4.0.2 radios that you could try with what you have. You might search for those. If I can find them again I will send the link.
