- 4.1.2 Extremely slow especially in gallery

I have had my Sprint Galaxy s3 since last December, and haven't had any major problems and everything seemed smooth.

Right now, for the past week or so my phone is running really slow at certain times and it just seems really random. It runs extremely slow and freezes in the gallery app when accessing all of my pictures. I have multiple folders and +1000 pictures on the phone. I have noticed it in the gallery and camera apps but to be honest I spend most of my time on the phone app or in the camera/gallery app sending photos via Whatsapp, Dropbox, or messaging for work. It has gotten pretty unbearable.

Any suggestions on a fix that would help? Maybe backing up all my photos on the pc and resetting the phone?

Same problem here. Did a hard reset and that did not fix the problem.

Thanks for the response... I guess I won't waste my time trying to reset then..

Another question Do you have your pictures saved to the phone or an sd card?
