4.1.2 is not working

I have samsung galaxy S3 & I have updated it to version 4.1.2 months ago,, only a few days ago it started cracking.. every 5 mins just everything stops working,,, it's like a picture on the screen & you can do nothing,, when i remove the battery and open it again... 5 mins & it happens again,, even if I dont do anything ....

not too sure, but I had older firmware from the site and that worked

Have you tried a factory reset? I'd do that first, before attempting to flash another ROM.
