according to drippler thats the plan for the note II. we will see, but i doubt it. not so soon after 4.1.2

from that same report...

"UPDATE: the Facebook page is not an official Samsung Mobile page, but is an enthusiast page dedicated to the Galaxy Note 2."

I doubt the VZW GNote2 sees 4.2.anything until the fall of this year at the earliest.

And that would be reasonable since that would be the 1 yr mark for the device

Agreed. I have 4.2.2 on my Nexus 7 and GNex phone, and it's got a few nice additional features for sure, but I'm happy to simply have any version of JB on my device.

It will definitely arrive by end of May. 2014.

LMAO this. It will probably be November before we get official 4.2.2, and then June 2014 before we get 5.0. Figure it out like this, Verizon is on average 5-6 months behind schedule on taking updates from the International device and porting it to their network. 6 months from today = November. Another 6 months from then is about where we are now. Yep.

meh, say what you want, but this 6 month old device has already had 2 updates, and thats in the 3 months ive had it. when i took it out of the box it updated to 4.1.1 and last week to 4.1.2

2? Are you on International or are you on Verizon?

Because the first "update" that was less than 9MB just to fix the Exynos exploit (and sneakily attempt to lock down the bootloader...) is hardly even an "update."

This 4.1.2 OTA is the first real update to this device since launch.
