4.3 software update.

Hello, just wondering if anyone know when the new update is coming out? I've heard tomorrow and January 2014.

Are there enough Note 2 owners out there that they will stagger the release out? And if I'm rooted, I guess I need to wait till there's a rooted release? I imagine that will take a day or so, huh?

The update is starting it's roll out now. Find and update the software version on your Samsung Galaxy Note II

Sprint phones update ota, not by kies. And when your phone is in the cue, it will be updated. It is rolling out in stages. Not everyone is getting it at the same time. When 4.1.2 rolled out, I got my update in the 2nd day after update release. Just depends on the pecking order.

That is Untrue. You most certainly can manually update from kies. And it is also an easy way to check if there is an update available. The OTA updates do not come from the sprint server. They come from samsungs server. That is why you click on check update on samsung software. The only OTA updates that come directly from sprint are firmware updates, such as when sprint updates their modem drivers or certain kernels. You should know what you are talking about before you just say nonsense. Its posts like yours that get people all excited for nothing.

It's listed again on the Sprint updates page and reports are coming in that people are getting it this morning. Of course, mine won't update for another 12-13 years, I'm sure.
