4.3 Update Features

Yeah... what's that?

Posted via Android Central App

It allows you to block all notifications except from the people or groups you specify. Perhaps you only want to be contacted by family in case of an emergency while you're sleeping or on vacation.

"Move apps from internal memory to SD card (some applications
may not support this feature)" Anybody tested this out?

Received 4.3 and it works like a charm. No problems. Reset downloads from browser and camer default to external card. Very fine.

Blocking mode is the equivalent of the "Do not disturb" feature on the IPhone.
I will use it when I'm expecting calls in the middle of the night from work and need to keep the phone by my bed. I can turn off everything except phone calls from specific people. Everything else is silenced.

I also just noticed that you can control 16 items from the task bar and rearrange them to prioritize. The only one I can't figure out is how to do brightness even though I keep getting alerts that you can.

Since I started this thread I feel that I have the right to ask that we keep on topic. This thread is suppose to be about features of the update, not about if you should or should not update.

If you believe a post is inappropriate, please feel free to report the post. Thread has been cleaned up.

I know how to set the camera default but how do you direct the downloads to the external card?

The contacts listing makes it easier to see the sidebar letters.

I noticed everything is brighter. Nice.

Storage is no longer reading the thumbnails as internal use. About time.
That was taking 750mb of my internal storage.

The phone flashes the camera flash when getting an incoming call now.
Any way to turn it off?
