I have been reading through the Dev threads and I am confused about a couple things.

1. can 4.3 be installed without the Knox boot loader?

2. Has anyone noticed speed/responsiveness improvements?
(I also have the Nexus 5 and it is super snappy, but I am not sure if that is due the the software or just the hardware?)
I have heard that the battery life is improved with 4.3...

3. I believe there is a new radio? Is is better? Stronger signals?

Thanks all.

1. No. Unless you flash a Knox-less custom ROM, but you can't do it with the official one
2. 4.3 greatly improves the performance with many people saying the lag is completely gone :D
3. They can't add in a radio on the phone as that is not software. They can add support for a new band but your speeds won't increase if you're not in one of the markets that supports said band
Hope that answers your Q's :)

Thanks for the quick follow up.
As for #1, I was referring to custom. As far as I could tell, there are not even custon ROMs without Knox?!?
#2, that's good to know that the lag is lessened. That drives me insane, and that is why I now also have a Nexus 5. No lag ever.
And for #3, I meant the radio software, not the actual hardware radios. Often new software can make for stronger signals, less dropped calls, etc.

Thanks.

There should be Knox-less ROMs. I think I helped someone find it the other day :p
Look for one on xda-developers :)
I still answered your third question lol
