4.4.1 OTA on T-Mobile

Any T-Mobile users get the OTA 4.4.1 update yet?

the update has nothing to do with your carrier. No one has posted receiving the update OTA yet. Everyone who has updated is doing it via sideloading.

Got it, thanks, I thought I saw somewhere that the updates had started OTA.

Root access is required to sideload, right?

OTA has started - but google doesn't push OTA to all devices at the same time. They start off with a low percentage, and slowly ramp up (over a week or two).

You do not need root to sideload.

I'm on T-Mobile and just received the 4.4.2 update (not rooted).

I didn't even get the 4.4.1 update.


(Edit: First post, just came to see what the 4.2.2 update included and thought I'd reply to this thread).

I ended up sideloading mine to 4.4.1 on T-Mobile. I just now got the 4.4.2 OTA though...

Nice to see a couple Tmobiles trickling through. Hopefully tonight/tomorrow mine will come.
