4.4.2 nexus 5 camera flash greyed out even with HDR+ off

As the title suggests just upraded nexus 5 and the flash control is greyed out even with HDR+ deselected. I tested the flash by sheilding light with my hand and it works (on auto) just greyed out cant change from auto to manual. Pretty ordinary if you ask me. would like to force flash on on occasion.

Did you try restarting your phone?
Try turning off Scene Mode and Incandescent white balance.

It appears that the SCE (or the bulb) mode already has auto flash as mandatory. Turn those off and you'll have your flash option back.
