-Moto X-

I experienced that when my Nexus 7 first updated to 4.4 but I haven't had that issue on my X for some reason.

Curious, where did you see that? I follow Punit Soni on G+ but haven't seen him say anything specifically about 4.4.2 coming to the X, but maybe I missed it.

Lots of times, Punit doesn't do specifically, but...first comment on his post re 'The Download' was:

What about moto x?

Very cool. Since 4.4.2 is rolling out to the G and Droid series is it safe to assume the X will get the 4.4.2 update as well?

very safe to assume we will be committed to ensuring all our devices are up to date

So far, his subtle replies were backed up with deeds...going back to the Bionic 'raw deal' that resulted in JB on our EOL OMAP devices!

Now that the Moto G has 4.4.2 will the Moto X receive it as well? Or is there no real difference for Moto to update the Moto X at this point?

The Moto G does not have 4.4.2, it was upgraded from 4.3 to KitKat 4.4. If you saw a tweet from another source the other day indicating an upgrade to 4.4.2 it was incorrect. I saw that and read the article which referenced 4.4 so I asked for clarification and they corrected both their tweet and article headline to read KitKat 4.4.

Not true.

From Punit Soni on Motorola's official blog:

We don?t know about you, but over the past few weeks we?ve had visions of KitKats dancing in our heads. We?re excited to tell you we?re starting to roll out Android 4.4.2, KitKat?the very latest version?TODAY on Moto G!

does anyone know when 4.4.2 is coming to canadian carriers for the sgh-i317m? im using debloated atm, and damn thing wont let me get the 4.3 update heh

Many people on 4.4.2 (not just the X) are experiencing an exchange email issue where mail stops syncing. Supposedly, 4.4.2 address the issue and fixes it.

Doesn't just stop syncing, mine continued to TRY to sync leading to poor battery life *and* no emails.

Lack of faith in a promt upgrade (was the first a fluke?) from Verizon to fix the exchange issue lead me to return my x while I still could. If Motorola can get 2 fast updates through Verizon I'll be super impressed.
