Hi, Idk if I posted my thread in the right place but here is my problem:
I just purchased a 16gb Moto X,so I was supposed to have 11.8 GB available. After putting all my music (4.7 gb), I see that my memory is full. With basic calculations I know i shoulde have 6-7 GB of free space... What's the problem? :-\

Yeah I did, I posted a picture look even with the photos and the apps it's less than 5 gb

That's weird. You should have those 6 or 7gb that you said. If we sum up all of those number, you don't even reach 8gb.

What's the little icon between PRTNR and the Wi-Fi?

Try an app called disk and storage manager it should show where your missing info is

Try a reboot and see what happens, I had this problem some time ago and it fixed my problem.

what OS version are you running?? if its 4.2.2 then there is no proper TRIM implementation. 4.3 and above have TRIM support.
That could be the problem. the only way to fix that is reboot

I had a similar issue, I found it was left over junk after I went from a dual booting kernel to single. In the end I found sd maid app cleared it under the corpse finder or tab system cleaner tab. Can't remember which but you'll need to be routed to use it.

Thanks for answers guys, but my problem had an easier solution: I rebooted a few times and it seems that the problem is solved.
