$415 nexus from Ebay

So I ordered a nexus from Ebay. Nice and cheap, but it was the phone and nothing else. The phone doesn't have a battery or backplate. No problem ill pick up a extended battery at Verizon when I get it activated. Question is, does it seem strange that it doesn't come with anything?

It's probably a refurb from somewhere.
They don't ship you accessories with refurbed phones.
Get a battery quick and see if the esn number is clean, etc.

If the esn is clean you should be good to go.
