4300 mah extended battery s3

I just bought an extended battery for my galaxy s3. Its 4300 mAh but when I check it using the Application du battery it only says 2100 mAh..how could that be? Am I cheated or there's something wrong with the application..I tried some several battery apps but it has the same results..can someone help?

Welcome to the forums!
Is the physical size different? I would have though it would be. Other than that, short of actually timing your two batteries and which one lasts longer, I think you may have been cheated.
Where did you get it from?
