Add to that if you already purchased the device (early adopters purchase date before Oct 22) you can get a $200 off coupon and use it with $499 price bringing it down to $299 which is a unbelievable price.
So if you are like me and are still in return period, I would register wait for the code to arrive and then return/purchase the phone. I registered for code but says it'll take up to 15 days for the code to receive. More details in below link.

They would but you might as well go for the $299 F&F pricing through Essential. You purchased before 22 Oct and qualify for $499 minus $200 F&F coupon. It might take a few weeks for the coupon and new order to happen but you're also saving over 50% in the process.
