Yesterday was a lazy, YouTube, Facebook, surfing kind of day, away from wifi. I got just over 8 hours of SOT. Normally with less use I will charge my phone every second day.

Hey, that's awesome for you! Good for you! My Pixel 5 you can go on my normal usage which means moderate to light usage 2 full days without charge. Your usage with heavy screen on time is awesome! Good for you...

Phone has great battery but noticed a little more drain than usual overnight. Noticed the wifi is using a big chunk of the percentage. Not sure if it's normal for wifi to show that much?

I turn on Extreme Battery Saver overnight. I allow phone calls, text messages etc. I get about a 4 to 5 percent drain overnight doing this.

I have a lot (too many) email accounts so I think that causes a good part of my standby battery drain.

In case anyone runs into this issue this seems to have worked. Ill be convinced in a few more days. Wifi was draining 20% overnight. Yesterday morning I reset Network settings on the 4a 5g and checked my wife's Pixel 3, no wifi battery drain on hers. While I was home on wifi the battery usage kept creeping up. In the evening I rebooted my Fios quantum router G1100 (SON 2.4/5ghz combined is activated) and this seems to have stopped the wifi battery drain. 4a 5g only lost 3% overnight.

I just picked up the 4a 5G; my first Google phone. I had just upgraded from an S10 to S20 FE, but 2 things were really problematic with the FE: terrrible battery life, and unacceptable camera/picture colour oversaturation: the 'Reds' of my pictures were so ever-hyped and unnatural looking, I just couldn't take it anymore (this did NOT happen with my S8 and S10). So I looked at camera reviews and ended up with the 4a 5G. At first, I thought I made a mistake. The phone felt like a toy, something for kids. Hardly any setting to play with in the camera app; no wireless charging; no SD expansion; no on-board sound eq; no in-screen fingerprint (which I loved!); the list goes on... BUT - when I took my first pix and videos - wow! Great natural colours! And...as I kept playing with and getting to know it, I noticed that the battery level barely moved. At fist I thought it was a glitch, but after a couple of days, I realized it was true - the battery life of this little guy is GREAT! I'm really starting to like this phone. It's about 25g lighter than my FE, which I notice, and like. The screen is not quite as bright in the direct sunlight, but the two best things about this phone so far: excellent pictures and excellent battery! (and cheaper than my old FE:))

Your battery screenshot is interesting. My 'Full Charge' says 1 day, 10 hours. I don't use Chrome due to reported battery drain; my Edge use says 6 minutes and 2%...

I have found the same thing with mine but yesterday it just seemed to drain battery faster. Rebooted the phone and monitoring it to see why. But the battery on my S10+ is dreadful. Have to charge it twice a day.

Wow... Finally broke the 2 day barrier! Thought I plugged in my phone last night but I guess I didn't 😳

With that said...

All I can say is NOT bad at all!!

Really? It barely makes a dent on my Samsung. Inbox is usually 1% to 2% with the Hub+ Services taking only half a percent out of a whole day. I've usually got 7 to 10 other apps pulling more juice. Firefox, because I'm on the browser a lot, CB Forums and this forum app take a good chunk, and the Always On Display is actually the biggest power draw.

Sorry to hear that. BB Hub never game me or any of my family members (5 users) issues with their DroidBerries starting with DTEK50, 60 all the way up to KeyONE. BB Hub was our goto ONE CENTRALIZED app that accessed all our stuff without having to open up this or open up that so that we can quickly see who, what and when (Text, Email, Phone calls, Social Media apps etc...) and reply directly from BB Hub again without opening up this and that.

So far from my 22 hours, BB Hub+ accounted for 21hrs and 16mins and only used 2% percent of battery juice as my phone still has an ETA of 22 hours left.

Not sure how your DroidBerries were resource hogs because all of my 5 family members all have different setups and personalized apps installed and all use BB Hub+ again as our ONE ALL BE ALL centralized hub without issues let alone resource hog issues.

BB Hub+ has continued on with our 4a 5Gs since Nov 20' when I decided it was time for us all to move over to a clean Android 5G device as that's what we were used to going back to DTEK 50 let alone BB10 days...

Here's after the Android 12 upgrade and a few days of indexing. Again not bad at all...only thing I don't like is the newer way that the bar graph usage is displayed.

I prefer Android 11's version.
