4g down?

40th and Park Ave in NYC, 4g's been down for last few days now. I just turned off LTE when I am at work. NJ, it works perfectly fine.

Are you sure 4G is down? It is working fine here. The Galaxy Nexus is known to lose data connection requiring a new SIM or even a replacement device. I thought data was down here but my son had it just fine on his Thunderbolt, after further investigation and trying a new SIM I needed a new device.

I had a few issues for a few minutes this morning but seems fine now as far as I can tell.

EDIT: GO BLUE!

So you're saying there's cases of Galaxy Nexus devices all being shipping with bad SIM cards? That sounds next to impossible.

Huh? I said no such thing. What I did say is that there have been many cases (in this forum) where people have lost their data and needed a new SIM or new device from Verizon.

Even Verizon tier 2 tech support told me it was a "known issue" and told me a fix would be coming but until then I needed to go into a Verizon corporate store for a new SIM and if that didn't fix it a new device. I did just that and when the SIM didn't fix it they orderd me a new device. Others in this forum have had the same issues. My original device worked for the first month and a half and then just lost data and couldn't get it back causing me to think there was a data outage.

How wide spread or what the issue is, I have no idea.

Sure is happening here in Miami, Florida, after trying 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 radios my phone cant hold or get a 4g signal. I'm getting a new SIM Verizon guy said if that doesn't fix it, he'll send me a new GNex.
