Calling it 4G seems almost like a cruel joke, HSPA+'s fake 4G is faster than WiMax, but honestly I only care about that a little bit... I was most excited about it bringing simultaneous tethering/surfing while talking, but...
I can't seem to keep a signal for more than a few seconds at a time. It goes in and out like crazy and more often than not just won't connect, I've been all around the city and the most I've ever seen is 2/3 bars but it's almost always just 1 if it connects at all. I live right in downtown Denver and supposedly it will work "In Building" on my block according to Sprint's map, but it barely works on the street (have to stand still and ask nicely)... If I sit right in front of my 8th story balcony it connects with 1 bar... is there something wrong with my phone or does WiMax really suck this much?
