First experience in a covered zone. It flies

I'm hating it so far.

I guess I'm in a spotty area at work. So my S3 is constantly connecting, disconnecting, switching to 3G, and switching back to 4G. I never had a problem with 3G here. I get great reception.

It's really pissing me off. I keep losing internet and have to wait for the phone to reconnect to 4G or switch to 3G.

I think it's killing my battery too.

And of course, there is no toggle to turn 4G off.

There are two choices:

EHRPD - Verizon Internet
LTE - Verizon Internet

I'm trying the EHRPD right now and it's holding a 3G connection. Hopefully this works.

I live in a covered area and its unmatched for sure. People can say what they want about Verizon, But Their LTE is blazing fast and puts other carriers to shame. I average around 15-17mbs download and close to 20mbs upload.

I live in the Cincinnati area and 4G is great around here, except where I live. I'm right on the edge of 4G coverage so sometimes I will switch to 3G only to conserve battery power when wifi isn't available.

Nope. It keeps switching the access point back to LTE.

Of course the LTE is not at my house, only work. At home I get a pretty weak signal, no different than my DInc

Don't you have to reboot the phone after doing that? I could be wrong, but I thought I read that.

I'm not sure. I'll try it tomorrow at work.

Hopefully it works cause it's so frustrating and annoying waiting for the internet to work.

I checked VZ's 4G map and it shows solid 4G coverage for miles and miles with my work right in the middle of it.

WTF? This is BS that it can't hold it's 4G connection.
