4G Outage

Just got off the phone with VZ, another 4G outage. I was having data connection problems.

I was having problems yesterday . So it may have started then. Things are working now. Cincinnati OH

Harrisburg PA has been running 4G fine for the last few days. Had a minor outage on the 22nd, but didnt last long

I must say I have not had any interruption in 4G service since the one a couple of weeks ago. I am in the NorthWest.

How do you force 3G? I go into settings and select CDMA and cannot get any data connection.

I had switched back to LTE/CDMA last night, now I have a 3G signal, which is normal at my house. When I check my mobile network type is shows CDMA-EvDo rev A. This seems different than before the 4G outage.

That is the correct procedure. If you have cdma selected and get no signal then 3g is down too.

I have been down since 12-28-2011 at 2:45pm. i have not had 3 or 4g service. This is after I rotted fone on 26th. Rooting the fone wouldnt have anything to do with this would it? I have been on the fone with VZ hot and heavy about not having internet service that I am paying for. They have tried everything including changing the sim card to no avail? ....VZ SLACKERS!


After emailing VZ execs about my issues and reading more post on here, I thought what would it hurt to factory reset the phone. I removed my SD card and factory reset my phone, I now have internet service again! I still have superuser access but lost the Titanium backup and Rom Mgr. apps. will reload those.
