Does being in a strong 4g area still drain battery faster than say 3g?

A strong 4G area will help and it will be much better than a poor 4G area... but it will not be as good as a 3G device in a 3G area... I can not speak to using a Tbolt on 3G in a 4G area, it just doesn't make sense to me, that's why I bought the device to get LTE speed.
Yea. I am in a 3g only area right now so I don't know what 4g is like, sadly.
