4g sleeps with screen off?

I love this feature because it conserves battery during non-use. It will still run 3G which is perfectly fine.

No. Doesn't do that on 3g.

hrmm, interesting. I haven't even tried out 4g on my NS4G, but I do have it in my area so I'll have to do some testing when I get a chance.

Yea I don't live or work near 4g. This is my first time running it on this phone since launch. Well second if you count yesterday but I didn't mess with it too much.

I waited about 20 minutes and until I turned the screen on I never got that message.

It should poll for data randomly just like 3g even with screen off. The other night I got my emails as usual during the night with 4g on in Atlanta.

Hmm. That's weird though. Cause I always get Google talk instantly on 3g. I don't know about emails. I should have sent one to see.

I've been having issues with gtalk in general. It tends to be inconsistent especially if you are also logged into a pc.

I never have issues. I know when I'm logged in on a PC though it will opt there first and never notify me on my phone.
