4G still active when WiFi available.

Ever since the update, I notice 4G still active. I thought that when WiFi is available, 4G should take a backseat mode.

I've heard of this before, and I think the consensus is that the icon just stays lit but the 4G isn't used. But just in case I created an event in Llama to disable 4G when Wi-Fi is on.

Should be enabled still due to Verizon launching Advanced Calling (VoLTE)

It is normal -- As long as WiFi is there it will use that for data. No need to worry .

If you are really concerned about it, any number of apps can turn off DATA once WiFi is connected.

I have MacroDroid programmed to do that...

Trigger: Connect to Network (any)

Action: Data OFF

Constraints: none
