5.0.2 Update Problem

Ok.... Crazy Situation here.
I can not update from 4.2.2. When I try to update I get 'Registration Failed' message right before the update should start.
Here is the backstory on this: My S 8.4 battery connector broke and I got a used main-board off ebay. I replaced it, did a factory reset, and I got 4.2.2 working. However no lollipop. I checked the codes on this 'new' tab:
Country is: France/FR
Original CSC Code: AUT
Firmware CSC Code: MKT
Active CSC Code: MKT

I'm in USA and I'm hoping to get to the correct firmware.
I want to use odin to update to 5.0.2, but just want to make sure I can use this rom:
Product code XAR
PDA T700XXU1BOK1
CSC T700XAR1BOK1

Is this my ticket out of this problem?

I just manually registered the tablet on samsung website. Chat Support person told me that it can take 30 min for the updates to be pushed out to tablets after registration. I guess I'll wait a bit, reboot a few times and see what happens. But the tablet still insists to being registered before update takes place.
