5.1.1 Battery Performance

Hello all,

Has anyone seen a massive reduction in battery performance after the update?

I can barely last 16h between charges. I used to get 1.5 days..

I've done this and it helped but still it's not as good as KK. I leave mobile data off now unless I need it, and now battery life is nearly on par which KK, so get 5hr SOT. Doing this google play services is now not at the top of the battery usually but much lower down.

I cleared the cache and it did help. I hope (but doubt) that that can on the next firmware release they can improve.

I think as mentioned above its down to the Android bug with Apps keeping the mobile radio active when they shouldn't, see my post above

Hmm 5.1 was supposed to fix battery issues with the z1 compact...

I updated to 5.1 and haven't noticed a single difference with my phone. Still runs as fast as ever with a 2 day battery life
