I really hope T-Mobile doesn't make us wait another couple months for the update like they did the last time.smh This is what I dislike about Android. Updates are not only different between models but also by carrier which is annoying.

Yes and one of the remaining perks of switching to Apple which I'm considering. Holding out until the Microsoft flagship announcement to make that decision. But it is irritating to literally have the same device as someone else but be stuck waiting on your carrier to update it.The only platform that doesn't suffer with this nonsense is iOS and only them.

On the positive side: you no longer need to hit enter after your lock code on the lock screen. That is definitely a welcome change as I unlock my phone countless times throughout the day.
Have you played with the Smart Lock options? I recently started using it. If the phone is in my pocket, it doesn't lock, but if I put it down on a table, it locks right away.
Let me know if the Camera2 APIs are there or not. I've heard that they weren't and that is a real shame. But I'm not sure if it's region specific or not.UK here, have the 5.1.1 update. I'm very pleased so far. Haven't had time to play with the camera yet but I will be doing that soon enough.![]()
