I read a article saying at&t isn't rolling out update till June but there is a way around it... Anyone care to comment???Turns out getting the Android 5.1 update for Nexus 6 on AT&T takes a little extra effort – here’s how
So if I have a 64gb N6 from Motorola, it won't matter that AT&T is my cell provider, I won't have to wait that long? This is why I chose to buy off contract and pay the money to get the 64GB which AT&T doesn't offer and to be carrier free. It's not cheap, but nothing worth getting in life usually is.

I just sideloaded 5.1D on my unlocked N6 on AT&T. I was trying to hold out for the OTA but ran out of patience.

Yep! D is the best for ATT. I side loaded to D then flashed to E and then flashed back to D. Running lime a champ!

Out of curiosity what we're some differences in your experience between D and E?
I think it was another post of yours I had on my mind that made think D was the way to go. Otherwise I just woulda thrown a dart at the wall...
