Yeah there are a lot of cool things in this video that I definitely would not have known about and may not have figured out for a very long time. The normal hands on videos are getting pretty boring. This was definitely a good watch. I'm coming from an S3 as well so there has been a lot of TouchWiz features add, for better or worse, that I'm unaware of. As long as it runs smooth, the more features the better. There seems to be some really cool features here that I will probably only use rarely but it's helpful to know ahead of time.

Holy crap these phones do a lot of stuff. (I'm assuming the S6 does most of the same, minus the Edge-specific functions?)

Yes they do offer the same functions. It's the same phone just minus the edge display. The phone does a lot more than that video also

Does the S6 have the swipe to get the 5 contact shortcuts? It was my impression that it was only on the Edge?

No unfortunately it doesn't.. There's a few extra features/perks but nothing major. They are pretty much the exact same phone is what I should of said
