512 model sold out?

Is anything else having trouble finding the 512 model unlocked on Samsung's website?

It says out of stock so you'll have to wait until they will restock. I don't think anyone here will know when they will restock or even the customer care since they won't have stock level information. I think they sold out initially then got some stock and now gone again. Don't think they make them in high numbers, last year also with S20 Ultra 512 GB unlocked it was similar story. Stock on and off every now and then.

I'm just stating the situation with higher storage options. We can go back and forth on SD card stuff and I agree it's really important for many folks but the majority people just buy the base model irrespective of what feature is there or not, since that's the least expensive model. In general the stock levels of higher end models are pretty low.

You could probably explain your situation to customer care and see if they can extend your return period until the 512 GB is in stock. I'm sure they can work out something. In fact they even have an 'extend my return window' option under order support. So try that to see if they can help you in any way.

That's all fine and good but it really bothers me that they can't give any information on it.

This is their top of the line phone and the supervisors don't even know anything

I can tell you that 512 GB unlocked models were coming in and going out of stock frequently. He was mentioning the Verizon version, I don't keep track of carrier versions so not sure. But since you are looking for unlocked model they will definitely come in stock again but the only question is how soon.

I need to return my device but I can't because they don't have one in stock

I have found a solution to still use a usb c drive or an adapter with a micro sd card. But they wont fit into the phones port with a case on but i found you can just get a little C extension adapter. Works great for extra storage if needed. Its best to plug the drive into the phone and format the usb c or mirco sd through the phone instead of pc.

I think this time best buy is only selling the 128 GB unlocked model. Amazon sells official US unlocked model 512 GB (ships and sold from Amazon listing) but they are out of stock as well. I think samsung.com is your best bet to get the 512 GB earliest when they come back in stock.

When the Note 20 Ultra 512 GB never came back into stock, do you know if that was just for new orders or were the people who pre-ordered the 512 GB notified and given another option to replace their order? I'm wondering how long we'll be expected to wait for Samsung to fulfill our pre-order for the 512 GB S21 Ultra.. I can be patient as long as I know the phone will eventually be restocked for those who pre-ordered it..
