Sorry, can you clarify the question? Is it giving you an insufficient storage warning despite having 540 MB free? Do you have a fix, or are you asking for one? Is the version staying at 7.0 after an apparently successful update?

The latest update was just a security patch and did not include the notification update. Unless you received something different or manually installed it.

The update mentioned in this thread isn't the same ones the Droids got.

Holy cow! I have the Droid Edition Z and and downloaded the latest update and it resolved the low notification issue!!

As close to the source as we can get says nothing was included in the Moto Z Droid build to address the low notification issue.

Could be agent is misinformed. But I understand my word is not proof also. The next couple days more users will post as it been out only a day or so.

OK, my 1st stupid question of the day. I just purchased a Moto Z Play Droid yesterday.

What's the low notification issue?

Not sure what's with mine, maybe because I loaded my own ringtones, I don't have the low notification issue.
