Hi all, so today I picked up the 600 MHz frequency of Tmo for the first time ever on my New S20+ Unlocked With Tmo Prepaid SIM

The first pic shows the Net Monitor App showing 600 MHz Band and then LTE just to the left but says 5G at the very Top right of the screen ?

Then the second pic shows Net Monitor picking up the 2100 MHz Band LTE but again with 5G at the Top right (this should not be 5G)

The third pic is a Speed Test showing I must not really ne on 5G?

Can someone that actually has a Screen Shot of T-Mobiles N260 or N261 mmWave Band post it please so I can see what that looks like?

I thought that true 5G for Tmo was only on the following;
Band 71 (600 MHz),
Band N260 (39 GHz),
Band N261 (28 GHz).

Thanks all

Re: 5G Signal Display

So the app very well couldn't be updated to support displaying 5g. The bands are most likely right I'd say.

As far as the speed test that very well is most likely 5g. Remember TMobile is using an ultra low band signal with only from what I've been reading 10mhz dedicated to it. That doesn't lend to super fast speeds.

Thank you for your reply. Did not think about the app not being updated yet...great point ...

Yes I used an app that would register mmwv as lte, I was staring at the node so I knew it was wrong.

Re: 5G Signal Display

I can get up to 69Mbps indoors where I live on 4g albeit only 10Mbps upload. I knew 4g was good enough...lol.

I'm hoping that the signal apps will start showing N260/N261 Bands, etc...as they become more available, thanks
