Curious what kind of speeds are y'all are seeing on 5g with your pixels. Have to admit I was presently surprised to see these type of speeds on the pixel 6 since theirs no uwb support on the T-Mobile model. Has me seriously debating on switching my main line from Verizon since I can only dream of seeing speeds half as good(have uwb in my city but being on the gUdp makes me ineligible to access it). Anyone good to know that the regular 6 without uwb is able to access more than adequate data speeds. Are you guys having the same experience?Screenshot_20211029-072228.jpg

I'm having a really poor mobile experience with mine on Verizon so far. I haven't received the November update yet though.

Wow that's crazy. Have you checked to see if you have the November security update available?

Darn impressive speeds Buzzy! :D And yeah I'm in the wrong forum talking about my P5. That's not what this is about.

I have a Pixel 5 and when I was on Verizon, (two weeks ago we left Verizon) the mm wave 5G sucked in downtown Charlotte. And Charlotte is supposed to be completely covered by mm wave 5G. I was constantly going between mm wave, sub 6 and 4G LTE. I could walk around a corner and drop the mm wave 5G. I'm not trying to be a Debbie downer, but the sub6 nation wide 5G was connecting 90% of the time. Look at the Pixel 5 forum, many of us on Verizon, were just leaving the phone on 4G LTE.

We moved over to TMO a week and a half ago. We live in the middle of no where and receive TMO 5G out here. We didn't receive 5G on Verizon. My Pixel 5s up load and down load speed on TMO 5G, are just about as fast as our Spectrum cable speeds using the 5Ghz side of our WIFI. Seriously, if I'm getting speeds like that, 45 miles from Charlotte, and I can't use the mm wave 5G anyway, I can stream anything I want at the speeds I'm currently receiving.

And before any one starts in on me, I well aware that your location has everything to do with it!!!

I just did this speed test, we live 13 miles north of Monroe N.C.. It's as rural as it gets. This is TMO 5G.

And this is on our 5 Ghz WIFI over Spectrum cable.

Are you in Verizon UWB range or just sub 6? If in a sub 6 area does your phone ever show 5G? Mine only shows LTE. I have an updated sim that will be here on the 2nd. That being said Verizon said, I probably won't ever see 5g unless I am in UWB range. I won't ever be able to get UWB because of an unlocked Pixel 6 and it isn't offered anywhere near me!

So, is everyone saying my 6 Pro won't show 5G when I'm on Verizon's 5G Nationwide service? I'm in Phoenix and there are a lot of areas with the UWB 5G, but the rest of the city and suburbs are solidly in the 5G Nationwide coverage. I have friends with iPhones and Samsung devices and they all show 5G on their displays at our office which is nowhere near the UWB areas.

Np you're more than welcome to post your experience on the pixels 5g even if it's not the 6. Yes T-mobile has severely increase their coverage. Anytime I pick up my T-mobile phone it always tend to have good cell reception and cans never drop.

Can anyone speak to relative 5g performance (speed and coverage) of the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro with the Samsung modem vs experience they had with a another device running on Qualcomm's 5G modem?

T-Mobile, nothing to complain

Update....Yes, my 6 Pro does show 5G on the status bar at the top all the time on Verizon, not just if I'm in a UWB area.

Considering the overhead on a network, you guys are real close to Gigabit network speeds. Impressive to say the least.
Very much so and keep in mind this is not yet using uwb which is very impressive that we can see those speeds from bands that have a more reliable distance.
