...and I haven't properly introduced myself.
I got into using Android 8 months ago. It was not a very smooth entry. I was using a Samsung Intercept at the time, and found it so buggy and slow. I knew it wasn't the fault of the OS... so about a month later, I sold it for a few bucks, and got myself my current device, the LG Optimus V.
I first rooted the V back in mid-November of 2011. I have since tried ROMS from two different ROM builders, Leslie Ann, and BobZhome. Those have made my time with the V more exciting than the previous months, as I was able to free up phone memory, and play some games that normally would only run well on much faster phones. I don't know how much longer I might hang on to this phone, as Virgin is rumored to have some ZTE(?) phones in its lineup soon. I'd really like to have a phone with a slide out keyboard again, but with a camera that has LED flash. If those newer phones don't satisfy me, I might just move onto an Optimus Slider, or a Motorola Triumph (which would be rooted & ROM'd after a few days or weeks of use).
When I'm not 'playing' with my V, I do my best as a hack photographer (Pentax DSLR/ Canon P&S guy), and play some bass and guitar.
